What is the compatibility feature based on?
Compatibility is based on all the information that you provide in the 4 stages of your profile.
Some information we consider more important for a successful travelmate match and therefore add more weight to that information.
Although it is not required that you do so, it is important that you complete all 4 stages of your profile.
If you or your travelmate does not complete your entire profile your compatibility scores will not be complete.
And we all know that compatibility is important so you should make your profile as complete as possible.

How much do you cost?
Becoming a member and contacting other members with our postcard feature, in addition to use of our message boards, and our many travel tools including our personal travelogue is absolutely free.
The only time we will ask for a payment from you is if you wish to be upgraded to a Full Member.

Is my information private?
Of course, all personal contact information that you provide on this website remains confidential.
This means that other members cannot contact you directly.
Members can only communicate with you through our internal messaging system.
The only emails you will receive will be directly from our administration regarding membership details or informing you that you have a new match or a new message from another member.
And we give you the option to stop receiving messages from us in the preferences page of your user menu.
